Welcome to Summer at Thrive
We hope you are all ready for an exciting and active summer.
The Thrive community has continued to grow through the first half of the year with new memberships and plenty of people getting into the Personal Training and Class sessions.
A big welcome to all our new members since our last newsletter in April.
We have been receiving some great feedback from our members on the training environment here at Thrive which makes us both proud and grateful to our members for all the effort they put in.
Our intention at the outset was to create a training environment where people can train properly and safely under the guidance of expert coaches alongside other like minded individuals. We were thrilled to get the feedback from our members about how much they enjoy the Thrive training environment.

We have just completed our third round of strength and conditioning testing which challenges our members with 5 physical tests of their strength and fitness. See further down the page for the details of the testing day this time around.
July, August and September promise to be exciting months as we will venture out for the Penwortham bypass run, have our first Thrive Picnic and undertake a Tough Mudder run.
All who took part in the Scafell walk in May were suffiently challenged and rewarded with a great day out. We are looking at the possibility of completing Snowdon and Ben Nevis before the end of the year too.
Everyone is doing a great job of following the monthly training progressions in their sessions as we keep tweaking and adapting the programming to suit everyones needs at the facility.
We believe that by focusing on the training process and specifically the experience of training being challenging and enjoyable keeps people coming back, which ultimately gets them results.
This has been evidenced by the increase in testing scores for health and fitness and improvements in body composition since opening in November of last year.
We have also added a new nutrition service in the last 2 months helping members to track their food intake and get feedback to progress steadily over time with their lifestyle habits.
We appreciate everyones efforts over the first half of the year, from the early 6am risers to the 9pm late finishers and everyone in between. A big thank you from us for getting into the gym and working hard every week.
