“After surviving a stroke I had become housebound and consequently decided I needed to do something about my health.

Before starting with Thrive Optimal Human Performance I had minimal core strength and as a result of the stroke, I had very poor balance.

During my rehabilitation I was encouraged to join a gym, my daughter brought me with her guidance and the help of my walking stick I had been using during my rehabilitation. At this point, the only gym-based exercise I was doing was ambling along on the treadmill holding on to the sides for balance.

Then, around 7 years ago I met Jack who designed a holistic programme that suited me perfectly. Within a short amount of time, I could feel the improvement in my core and balance so much I decided I no longer required the use of my walking stick.

Nearly 7 years on, still working alongside Jack, I don’t need the use of a walking stick, I partake in Squats, Deadlifts, Chin-ups, Box Jumps… anything that is thrown at me!

I would highly recommend Thrive Optimal Human Performance to anyone who is looking to improve their fitness and lifestyle”.
