I’m Kelly and 42 and I’m a travel consultant I’ve always been a member of the gym since my early twenties but I’ve only ever felt confident doing classes.
I never really hit the gym and it was a confidence thing so my classes were anything from circuit to spin into pump
I didn’t feel confident in approaching any of the previous trainers until I did an 8 week training course with Thrive which was a completely different style of training than I had ever done and I fell in love with it.
It really worked for me so I wanted to carry that on.
I enjoy the different exercises, lifting weights, different to the classes and it was personal to me.
With a trainer always available at the end of the phone or a message if I needed any help with nutrition and training.
I wanted more support, I needed to learn how to do it for myself and I thought I’d get more from a one-to-one.
I wanted to see results, and I think after doing years and years of classes and not really seeing a massive change spending a month with Thrive and seeing the changes that could happen in four weeks just inspired me and motivated me towards changing my nutrition and my training habits.
I used to train in the evening when I had no energy and I had a bad day at work so I’m more often than not that would make me not want to go.
I’m now a morning person, I look forward to it found it and have found it motivational and educational. I’m constantly learning all of the time.
From learning to squat properly to preparing a nice, fresh healthy meal from scratch just go for it.
It’s the best thing that I ever did. It’s changed my life made me healthier, happier made me stronger, made me realise my goals and to carry on smashing it.
